Information
All working group chairs should be aware that IEEE
has developed a definitions database. Working group chairs developing a
Standard, Guide or Recommended Practice should be aware they:
- may gain free access to the Database by emailing
a request for a password to Matt Ceglia at m.j.ceglia@ieee.org
- should include a “Definitions” clause in the
document that they are developing
- may define non-protective terms in this clause
- may define terms already defined in the database
in this clause
