I.                   Attend your first meeting.

A.        Research: Go to www.pes-psrc.org website.

1.     Review minutes of past meeting for interesting subjects.

2.     Check for next meeting date and location.

3.     Look for meeting announcement and agenda on the AGENDA page.

B.    Register, and make hotel reservation.

C.     Arrive at the Meeting by Monday afternoon.

1.     Confirm reservation and collect meeting materials.   

2.     Attend reception at 6:30 PM to introduce yourself around.

3.     Attend Newcomers orientation at 8:00 AM on Tuesday.

4.     Start attending Working Groups that interest you.

5.     Attend Subcommittee meetings on Wednesday afternoon.

6.     Attend Main Committee meeting on Thursday morning.

7.     Leave time open for networking.

II.                When in meetings of Working Groups that interest you and need help:

A.      Listen and learn. Speak up. Offer viewpoints and opinions.

B.       Offer to write a portion of the work. Team up with someone.

C.      Note: Most of WG activities occur between meetings.

D.      Anytime: Join WG by asking WG Chairman.

E.       Regulate your time commitment: Working on 1-3 WG’s is Plenty.

F.            Attend other WG’s for your own education and your Company’s interest as you see fit.
